About Us

The Power of the GPU.

The last 20 years have seen a loud revolution in how and where compute takes place. It used to take place on the CPU, and now it takes place on the GPU as well. We make it possible for any developer to access the hidden computing power of the GPU on any device running OpenGL for Windows, Linux, or Raspberry Pi 3/4/5 OS.

Mission

We create tools that enable software developers worldwide to access the power of GPU compute. We want to lead a revolution in the way people leverage CPU and GPU compute to rapidly create, manage, and manipulate information of all kinds. Our products allow people to process information on commodity hardware so that they can prototype at their desktop or coffee shop, and then scale up to private GPU clusters or cloud-based machine fleets.

Philosophy

We aren’t satisfied making tools that simply make you more productive. That’s not good enough. We want to make tools that remove hours of stress and frustration from your life. To accomplish this, we have developed a rich set of tools that rely on a sane, node-based architecture, instant visual feedback, and comprehensive property editing. It’s not good enough to make tools that make GPU compute available to everyone. We want GPU compute to be a fun and pleasant experience.

Vision

In keeping with the spirit of “GPU compute for everyone”, we make our products affordable to just about any developer in the world. We’re talking less than dinner out at a fancy restaurant. We won’t stop until every developer in the world has access to our version of GPU compute, the version of GPU compute they can afford, that actually works, and delivers results that can be used to further scientific research, entertainment, and high performance computing.

Now available to everyone.

We make desktop software and software infrastructure that makes it possible to access the GPU on desktop, mobile, and cloud.

Hardware

There are approximately 2 billion GPUS in the world right now, but 99% of software developers have never used a GPU compute device. For many years, GPU compute was difficult because developers needed specialized knowledge of the graphics pipeline in order to access the compute device.

Technology

With the advent of compute shaders and generic buffer technologies, developers no longer need to understand the graphics pipeline in order to use GPU compute, but until now there weren’t any applications that allowed you to design, implement, and debug compute shaders.

Practicality

Scenomics LLC develops applications for GPU compute, making it possible for developers to start building shaders in minutes, with a rich set of tools for visualizing the results. In keeping with our mission to make GPU compute available to all developers, all our products cost less than $100 USD.
