Calculate switching distances for the selected <LOD> nodes, using the distance between the first and second <LOD> nodes as the base value. For example, if the switch between the first and second <LOD> nodes occurs at 1024 units in worldspace, the switch between the second and third <LOD> nodes will be set to 2048 in order to preserve the 1024 unit switching pattern.
