Open Windows Folder To Raspberry Pi® 3B+ Shared Folder
You need the following Scenome® modules to complete all exercises involving the Raspberry Pi 3B+: Scenome® Platform Binaries, Scenome® Video Module, Scenome® Raspberry Pi 3B+ Export Module
The section assumes you have completed the previous exercise.
When working with the Raspberry Pi® 3B+, it is convenient to have an easy way to transfer files between the Windows PC and the Raspberry Pi® 3B+. This exercise shows one of many ways this can be done. The steps will include:
- Setting up a SAMBA server on the Raspberry Pi® 3B+.
- Creating a shared folder on the Raspberry Pi® 3B+.
- Mapping the shared folder as a Windows Drive.
Once this has been done, files can easily be moved between the Windows development PC and the Raspberry Pi® 3B+.

Once this shared folder has been created the instructions explain how to map a Windows drive to it. Using this mapped drive you can easily transfer files between your Windows development PC and the Raspberry Pi® 3B+.
Create the Scenome Directory on the Raspberry Pi® 3B+
- Using Windows Explorer, open the drive mapped to the Raspberry Pi® 3B+ shared folder created in the previous steps.
- Open the shared folder.
- Within the shared folder create a new folder and set its name to Scenome.
