Software Activation

In this exercise you'll learn to activate software you purchased from Scenomics®. This process is very easy, but please take your time and follow all the instructions.

Open The License Manager Folder

  1. Shut down ALL running Simdify applications such as Layout.
  2. Access the Windows Start Menu.
  3. Find the program group named Scenomics.

    NOTE: Hit the Windows key on your keyboard and typing Scenomics.

Activate Your Product

  1. Return to the text file containing the licensing information.
  2. Paste the activation code you received from support@scenomics.com at the end.

    Don't forget to type a comma after the MID value as shown below. 

    Simdify-Video-Module-License-Manager.exe, EFEC485A, 8618-D470-314B-0629, 547EB030-5B454AA2-954B96D4-67B3A813
  3. Return to the license manager. This is a picture license manager activation screen.
  4. Paste the activation code into the text entry field named Activation code. This is a picture license manager activation screen with the activation code.
  5. Click Continue >> to activate your product.

    The license manager activates the license and exits. You can start using your new software immediately.

Review Product Activation

  1. Return to the folder and double click the license manager again.

    Note that the product is shown as LICENSED.

    You can use the license manager to manage licenses. For example to transfer a license to a different computer.

    This exercise is complete. You'll be able to start using your new software immediately!
