The <StructInstanceNode> and <StructInstanceArrayNode> upgrade is ongoing. There is now full, experimental support for editing scalar/scalar array, vector/vector array, and matrix/matrix array data members of struct instances declared in GLSL. Start a copy of the Shader application and select File » Open from the main menu. Open \StructUpgrade\StructUpgrade.box. The GLSL code is in the \460 folder if you wish to review it. Note that this feature does not actually send any data to the GPU, but it is enabled for preview purposes. Please send email to support@scenomics.com with comments. |
The full upgrade to the property editing system for <DataCapture> objects is underway. This should become available over the next few release cycles. This upgrade is related to the <StructInstanceNode> and <StructInstanceArrayNode> upgrade, but it will also make it possible to edit most <DataCapture> objects directly in the property sheet and/or with the current Data Sources popup available on most <Node> command menus. In some cases, this will be easier than the current system that uses the data capture wizard dialog. |
There is a new video sample. This video sample features a car in motion along a highway with other vehicles as well. |
