Scenome 23.11 — 3/19/2023
Release details are described below.
- Scenome Platform. The document layout upgrade is ongoing. This upgrade will continue for the next three or four release cycles. All documents that use the existing layout will continue work during and after the upgrade.
- Scenome Platform. Updated a <SamplerNode> to support an explicit binding location. This value is used if neither the GLSL nor the <SamplerNode> itself specify an explicit binding location such as layout( binding = 0 ) uniform sampler2D my_sampler. Note that you must set this value yourself, and you can do so by editing the <SamplerNode> in the property sheet.
- Exporters. Updated the exporter to support explicit sampler binding values.
- Shader Application. Started to restructure the Shader app build process. User feedback has identified several key changes that will be made. In general, the upcoming document structure and build changes will make it much easier to implement multi-pass algorithms.
